Four transported from morning wreck

Julie Yates
Staff Reporter

Pryor firefighter B. K. Young, Mayes County Emergency Management Director Johnny Janzen and Diamond Head Fire Chief Frank Kotoff stabilize a passenger in a wreck Monday morning. Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper Colby Overstreet said Bethany Foster, Pryor, was southbound on North 429 Road and failed to stop at a stopsign. Foster’s 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt was struck by a 1994 Chevrolet truck driven by Marilee Feeling, Pryor. Feeling was eastbound on EW 440 Road when she collided with Foster. Foster, 20, was transported by MESTA to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa and admitted with trunk internal injuries. Feeling was taken to St. Francis Hospital by Life Flight. She was treated and released. Passengers in Feeling’s vehicle were Nathaniel Feeling, 17, and Rayne Feeling, 6. Nathaniel and Rayne were transported to Mayes County Medical Center and released. Pryor firefighters (left) inspect the Chevrolet Cobalt involved in the crash. The car came to a rest in a fence line.
