PRYOR, OK —
Right now, the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma is down nearly 3.5 million pounds of donated food (about 10 percent) compared to the same time last year. This represents more than 2.9 million fewer meals for our neighbors in need. Our goal is to fill the gap using donations collected through the Feeding Hope and Letter Carriers’ Food Drive.
On Saturday, May 10, letter carriers will once again help “Stamp Out Hunger” by collecting canned food donations from households on their route. All food donations will stay in your community. This is part of the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma’s Feeding Hope and Letter Carriers’ Food Drive, which is a one-day food drive held in more than 120 cities in central and western Oklahoma, including Pryor.
