The big blow anniversary

PRYOR, OK — Sunday marks the 72nd anniversary of the tornado that devestated Pryor. At

4:45 p.m., April 27, 1942 an F4 tornado made it’s way down Pryor’s Main Street, leaving behind it death and devestation. Reports at the time showed 100 people killed and 250 more injured. The tornado ranks as the fifth deadliest in Oklahoma history.
