PRYOR, OK —
St. Mark’s Parish of Pryor Ladies Club will be hosting their second annual Fall Craft Fair on Saturday, Nov. 2nd from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at 1507 S. Vann in Pryor. The women of the church had previously held a spaghetti dinner and silent auction in the fall to raise money for their Alter Society that supports alter supplies, funeral dinners, and 200 food baskets at Thanksgiving and Christmas for those in need in Mayes County. The group decided to try a new fund-raiser last year with the craft fair. The first fair raised over $3,500, and included concessions, a bake sale, and an heirloom quilt raffle. The club also made and sold over 200 pounds of their “Made with Love” English Toffee.
This year’s event is planned to have over 30 local area crafters and popular direct sales vendors such as Pampered Chef, Mary Kay, Lia Sophia, and Thirty-One Bags. Craft booths will include stained-glass, wood-turning, jewelry, mosaics, Christmas and baby items, pottery, paintings, scents and soaps, home-made jams and cakes, a local winery, and many others. Concessions will be available throughout the day, as well as baked goods, toffee, home-made tamales, and wine-tasting. Raffle tickets will be sold for a baby quilt, a Christmas quilt, and an heirloom quilt. Admission is free, with ample parking and wheelchair access.
St. Mark’s is part of the Eastern Oklahoma Outreach that partners with Catholic Charities and Trav’s Coats for Kids which provides donated coats for needy children and adults.
