NEO Equine Club to host horse show

The equine club at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College  is hosting a horse show at NEO’s indoor arena on March 2. Doors will open at 8 a.m. with the show beginning at 10 a.m.

The show will have four divisions: Open, Youth, Collegiate, and Green Horse. The classes available within each division are Halter, Showmanship, Hunter Under Saddle, Equitation, Western Pleasure, Ranch Pleasure, Horsemanship, Reining, and Ranch Trail.

Anyone who wants to show is welcome to come. The cost is $8 per class in the Open, Youth, and Green Horse Division. Entry fees for the Collegiate division are $5 per class. There is a flat fee of $40 for six or more classes per division. There will be no entries accepted after 9 a.m. on show day. All proceeds from the clinics will go toward NEO’s equine club fund.

There will be no stalling available and a negative coggins test is required.
