Reading Contest

Rep. Markwayne Mullin has announced the District 2 Summer Reading Program.

Children completing first through fifth grade are eligible to participate in the program, which runs from June 10  to July 31. Working in partnership with public libraries in the district, Mullin said he hopes to challenge children to read as many books as they can this summer.

“We are excited to launch this reading program and I encourage every eligible student to participate because reading is one of the best things you can do in your spare time and the benefits will be lifelong,” Mullin said.

Program winners will be announced and prizes awarded during the month of August.

For more information contact a 2nd District public library, call one of  Mullin’s offices or go to www. mullin.house.gov.
