Reward offered in burglary

PRYOR, OK — Pryor Police Department is looking for leads regarding the burglary of a storage building.

“The victim is offering a reward, amount undisclosed, for information leading to the arrest and convictions of the individual that burglarized his storage unit,” said Detective Kevin Lanham.

The burglary occurred between Oct. 1 and Oct. 12 at Tiger Self Storage in Pryor.

“As is typical of a storage unit, the owner doesn't visit every day but we have narrowed it down to that window of time,” said Lanham. “The individual took multiple trailer loads worth of items.”

The list of stolen items is six pages long, Lanham said.

Among the list of stolen items  is a Primos Double Bull T-2 ground blind and a Double Bull Matrix 360 ground blind, both in swat camouflage.

There was also a Double Bull ground blind chair, a Magnus ground blind backpack chair, Vector & Duke padded leg hold traps, over 100 one-ounce bottles of Deep South trapping lures, trapping snares and trapping cages. Also stolen were 32 Pampered Chef items. The owner reported a 36-piece china set, a Shop Vac, approximately 50 DVDs, a charcoal smoker, massage chair, Samsonite eight-piece set, miscellaneous tools, coolers, a PSP game system and games, three Gameboys and multiple games.

“Many of the items stolen were sentimental and unique. These are not things you can just run out to Walmart and buy,” said Lanham.

Among the one-of-a-kind items were hockey sticks autographed by professional players and a Japanese bread slicer purchased in Okinawa.

Anyone with information regarding the burglary is encouraged to call the Pryor Police Department, 918-825-1212. Anonymous tips can be left on the “submit a tip” form on the department's website, www.pryorpolice.com
