Michael Joseph Hand, 31, Tulsa, was in Mayes County District Court Wednesday charged with two counts of falsely personating another to create liability after a former conviction, failure to wear a seatbelt, and driving without a license. A not guilty plea was entered. The case was set on the preliminary hearing sounding docket Nov. 8. Bond was set at $75,000. Hand allegedly told Chouteau Police on May 29, that he was Brad Aaron Hand and later Steven Eric Hand when pulled over.

Hand allegedly had not been wearing his seat belt, and driving without a license on May 29. Hand was convicted in Sequoyah County in June 2008 of knowingly concealing stolen property. He was convicted in Sequoyah in June of 2007 of knowingly concealing stolen property. Hand was convicted in Sequoyah County in September of 2006 of knowingly concealing stolen property and in another case, four counts of uttering a forged instrument and knowingly concealing stolen property. Hand was convicted in Sequoyah County in October of 2005 of seven counts of uttering a forged instrument.

Gregory Shawn Roach, 40, Tulsa, was in Mayes County District Court Tuesday charged with failure to appear in court on Aug. 27. The case was set on the preliminary hearing sounding docket Nov. 8. Bond was set at $15,000. Roach was charged in July with driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to carry insurance, driving without a license and failure to stop at a stop sign.
