Court Notes 4-14-13

Three bench warrants were issued during the April 4, Mayes County District Court preliminary hearing sounding docket.

A bench warrant was issued for Katy Ballew , Pryor, for failure to appear. Her charges include possession of controlled dangerous substance, possession of paraphernalia, driving without a drivers license and speeding 11-15 mph over the limit. Her bond was set in the amount of $50,000.

Also for failure to appear a bench warrant was issued for Henry Hayes. His bond was tripled with a new total of $18,000. He is charged with possession of controlled dangerous substance, possession or selling of paraphernalia, driving with license revoked and failure to carry security verification.

Amber Watts, Pryor,   had her bond tripled, to total $15,000 when a bench warrant was issued for her failure to appear. She was  charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and the possession of paraphernalia.

The case of the State of Oklahoma vs. Donnie Ray Yochum appeared on the April 4 preliminary hearing sounding docket as well.

Yochum, Chouteau, is charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, eluding a police officer, running a police road block, driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with license revoked and transporting an open container of beer. He entered a plea of not guilty March 5 and his bond was set in the amount of $100,000. He was remanded to the custody of the Mayes County Jail at that time.

During his preliminary hearing Judge Rebecca Gore set his case for issue May 20.

Monty Adams, Salina, came on for preliminary hearing April 4. In October of 2012 Adams was charged with endeavoring to manufacture controlled dangerous substance, possession of controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute, possession of controlled drug with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm while in commission of a felony and possession of paraphernalia. All of these charges occurred after prior felony conviction.

Gore continued his case for issue and set it on the  May 29 docket.

Adams has been arrested on similar charges before. In 1996 he was charged with cultivation of marijuana and possession of a controlled drug. In 2001 he was charged with possession of paraphernalia. He was charged with possession of substance with intent to manufacture and possession of a controlled drug in 2002.

Andrew Dallas Gable was charged with manufacturing a controlled dangerous substance, possession of controlled dangerous substance and possession of paraphernalia. He was present on the April 10 Mayes County District Court felony  motion docket for his one year review. Judge Terry McBride ordered the remainder of his time to serve be suspended. Gable will have district attorney supervised probation, attend cognitive behavior classes, vocational training. He was ordered released on this case.
