PRYOR, OK —
It took several Pryor Police Officers to apprehend 19-year-old Christopher Baldwin.
Baldwin is charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, methamphetamine, marijuana and Tramadol. He allegedly had in his possession syringes, pipes, straws and spoons. Once confronted, Baldwin didn't go easily.
In addition to the drug charges, Baldwin is charged with four counts of assault and battery on a police officer.
Information filed in the case alleges he attempted to bite Officer Jared Vance, grabbed the genitals of Officer Doug Barham and broke a glass door with the intent of doing harm to the officers. Baldwin allegedly had in his possession a Ruger .22 rifle, leading to felony charges of possession of a firearm during commission of a felony. He has an additional misdemeanor count of resisting an officer.
Baldwin has a prior criminal record that includes possession of a controlled drug near school, possession of a controlled substance (marijuana), possession of paraphernalia and actual physical control.
