PRYOR — Rocky Lee Meek, 28, Pryor, was in Mayes County District Court Dec. 18, charged with knowingly concealing stolen property. A not guilty plea was entered. The case was set on the preliminary hearing sounding docket Jan. 24, 2013. Bond was set at $5,000.

Meek allegedly had in his possession five DVD players, 50 DVD movies, four Bluetooth ear pieces, four remote control helicopters, two Nexus notepads, a curling iron set, a flat screen television, one XP3000 game and three 7009 remote control boats all belonging to Murray Underwood on Dec. 17.

Ronald Eugene Brigance, 62, Pryor, was in Mayes County District Court Dec. 17, charged with failure to register as a sex offender. Brigance pleaded not guilty. The case was set on the preliminary hearing sounding docket Jan. 24, 2013. He was free on $20,000 bond. Brigance allegedly did not register as a sex offender in Pryor. Brigance was convicted in Mayes County of lewd molestation in 1995.

Hector Castro was in Mayes County District Court Dec. 17, charged with public intoxication. Castro, who does not speak English, has no address and no Social Security number, pleaded not guilty through an interpreter. The case was set on the preliminary hearing sounding docket Feb. 22, 2013. Castro was free on bond.

Castro allegedly was intoxicated at First and Mill Streets in Pryor on Dec. 16.

Jeanie Faye Kennon, 55, Wagoner, failed to appear in Mayes County District Court Dec. 17, charged with aggravated driving of a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and having an accident due to being intoxicated. Judge Rebecca Gore issued a bench warrant for her arrest. Kennon allegedly was driving a 2000 Buick four-door on Highway 412 and Murphy Road Dec. 15 with a blood alcohol level of .08. She was allegedly injured in an accident due to intoxication.

Amber Dawn Leona Hettick, 32, Sapulpa, was in Mayes County District Court Dec. 14, charged with three counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Hettick pleaded not guilty. The case was set on the preliminary hearing sounding docket Jan. 24, 2013. Bond was set at $15,000. Hettick allegedly had methamphetamines, Lortabs, marijuana and syringes in her possession on Dec. 13.

Jordan Lewis King, 21, Locust Grove, was in Mayes County District Court Dec. 14, charged with second degree burglary, knowingly concealing stolen property, and public intoxication. King pleaded not guilty. The case was set on the preliminary hearing sounding docket Jan. 24, 2013. Bond was set at $15,000. King allegedly broke into a vehicle owned by Destry Sellars and Lindsey Passmore, located at the 300 block of Eastmanor Street in Pryor. King allegedly kept some items taken from the vehicle and was allegedly intoxicated.

Tyler Don Powell, 19, Pryor, was in Mayes County District Court Dec. 14, charged with second degree burglary, knowingly concealing stolen property, attempting to elude police, failure to pay taxes due the state on his car tag and failure to stop at a stop sign. A not guilty plea was entered. The case was set on the preliminary hearing sounding docket Jan. 24, 2013. Bond was set at $20,000.  Powell allegedly broke into a vehicle owned by Dusty Sellars, concealing items in his car belonging to Sellars, eluding Pryor Police Officer Michael Moore by speeding up his 2005 Ford Mustang while officer Moore was giving audible and visual signals for him to stop.
