Be ready with ALICE training

PRYOR, OK — Pryor Times

A.L.I.C.E (alert, lockdown, encounter, evacuate) training is 9:30 a.m. to11:30 a.m. June 12 or 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. July 31 at Pryor Junior High.

“ALICE is violent intruder situation training that goes beyond lock-down, it gives people opetions they can use to survive such an event,” said Pryor Police Department’s School Resource Officer Jeremy Cantrell who will be teaching the course.

Cantrell invites members of the community, churches, businesses, government agencies etc. to attend the course.The proactive training program that meets the standards of the Department of Homeland Security and the FBI as an effective tool for survival in a violent intruder situation.

The training is free and open to the public, but an RSVP is required at least three days before each training.
