Mayes County preliminary hearing sounding docket

PRYOR — The Preliminary hearing sounding docket was held on Thursday Oct. 11.

Brandon Paul Backwater, 23, Locust Grove, will reappear Dec. 11 for his preliminary hearing. Backwater was charged in September with failure to register as a sex offender.

Joey R. Bradford, 35, Hulbert, was not in court. Judge Rebecca Gore issued a bench warrant. Bond was forfeited and tripled for his failure to appear.

Bradford was charged in August with possession of a firearm after former conviction.

Sara Kayleigh Burrows, 20, Locust Grove, had her case continued to Dec. 20. Burrows was charged in August with first degree burglary and assault with a dangerous weapon.

Kristina Ruth Carmichael, 34, Chouteau was approved for court appointed attorney. She will have her case continued. Carmichael was charged in August with possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

Wayne Edward Carnes, 45, Salina, will have his case continued to Nov. 8. Carnes was charged in September with child abuse by injury, domestic assault and battery after former felony conviction, and domestic assault and battery.

Justin Luke Daugherty, 30, Afton, had no attorney and was remanded to the custody of the Mayes County Sheriff’s office. His case was continued to Nov. 8. Daugherty was charged in February with driving under the influence of alcohol.

Jacob Harrison Dilldine, 18, Vinita, will reappear in court on Jan. 10, 3013. Dilldine was ordered to have no contact with the alleged victim in this case.

Dilldine was charged in September with first degree rape.

Russell Dale Downing, 27, Pryor, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and a hearing within 30 days. He will reappear in court for formal arraignment on Nov. 21. Downing was charged with September possession of a controlled drug near a school, acquiring proceeds from drug activity, possession of drug paraphernalia.

John Charles Escoe Jr., 41, Langley, had his case continued to Nov. 8. Escoe was charged in August with placing bodily fluid on a police officer, assault and battery on a police officer, resisting an officer and assault.

Wade Anthony Faught, 24, Salina will reappear in court on Jan. 7, 2013 for preliminary hearing. Faught was charged in September with kidnapping, second degree burglary, possession of a controlled substance and resisting an officer.

Steven Paul Graves, 53, Pryor, waived his right to a preliminary hearing. He will appear for arraignment on Oct. 17. Graves was charged in September with embezzlement.

Shane Thomas Griffith, 32, Pryor, will have a preliminary hearing on Dec. 11.

Griffith was charged in September with possession of a controlled drug in the presence of a child, possession of drug paraphernalia, destroying evidence and obstructing an officer.  

Dusty Herring Jr., 25, Sedgwick, Kansas, waived his right to a preliminary. hearing.  Herring was charged in February with attempting to elude a police officer. Herring plead guilty on Oct. 12.

Tyler Lynn Johnson, 25, Oaks, had his case continued to Dec. 20.

Johnson was charged in August with larceny of an automobile.

James Richard Johnston, 31, Pryor, had his case continued to Dec. 20.

Johnston was charged in September with domestic assault and battery by strangulation or attempted strangulation and public intoxication.

Troy Howard Keeney, 26, Pryor, was not in court Thursday. Judge Gore issued a warrant for his arrest.  Kenney was charged in March with obtaining controlled dangerous substances by forged or altered prescriptions.

Susan Shari Kirby, 39, will have her preliminary hearing on Dec. 14. Kirby was charged in July with second degree forgery.

Robert Kent Kraft, 23, Locust Grove, was not in court. Judge Gore forfeited and tripled bond for his failure to appear and issued a bench warrant for his arrest. Kraft was charged in July with malicious injury to property and domestic assault and battery in the presence of a minor child.

Jacob Matthew Ledbetter, 26, Chouteau, waived his right to a preliminary hearing. He will plea on Nov. 5. Ledbetter was charged in January with possession of a controlled substance, petit larceny and possession of paraphernalia. In a different case Ledbetter was charged in August with endeavoring to manufacture a controlled substance.

Reinaldo Joseph Lopez, 34, Arthur City, Texas, was not in court. Judge Gore forfeited and tripled his bond and issued a bench warrant for his failure to appear. Lopez was charged in August with possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

Robert Daniel Maguire, 26, Pryor, will reappear for preliminary hearing on Dec. 14. Maguire was charged in August with grand larceny.

Brian Douglas Martin, 39, Peggs, had his case continued to Nov. 8.

Martin was charged in September with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Martin was charged in August with manufacture of a controlled dangerous substance after a former conviction.

Ricky Wallace Miller, 51, Chouteau, will have his preliminary hearing on Dec. 20. Miller was charged in August with assault and battery on a peace officer, discharge of a firearm in a public place, resisting arrest, carrying a firearm while under the influence and reckless conduct with a firearm.

George Scott Moore, 32, Grove, had his case continued to Dec. 20. Moore was charged in April with obtaining merchandise by bogus check.

Kevin Cole Nassif, 24, Spavinaw, will have his preliminary hearing on Dec. 11.

Nassif was charged in August with kidnapping and domestic assault and battery.

Tammy Joann Nelson, 37, Pryor, had her case continued to Nov. 8.

Nelson was charged in April with manufacture of a controlled dangerous substance.

Robert Lester Payne, 49, Salina, will have a preliminary hearing on Dec. 6.

Payne was charged in November 2011 with child sexual abuse.

Dustin Darman Peabody, 31, Pryor, had his case continued to Nov. 8.

Peabody was charged in June with entering with intent to steal copper after former conviction.

Jerry Don Powell, 46, Pryor had his case continued to Nov. 8.

Powell was charged in September with second degree burglary.

Charles Bowie Richardson, 40, Locust Grove, had his case continued to Nov. 8. Richardson was charged in August with failure to register as a sex offender.

Ashley Marie Rumsey, 20, Tulsa, had her case continued to Nov. 8. Rumsey was charged in August with first degree burglary.

Keith Dylan Russell, 28, Salina, will have a preliminary hearing on Dec. 6.

Russell was charged in April with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon after former conviction.

William Joe Rutherford, 28, Pryor, had his case continued to Nov. 8.

Rutherford was charged in April 2011 with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. In July Rutherford was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance after former conviction.

Johnson Lewis Sanders, 38, Pryor, waived his right to a preliminary hearing.

Sanders was charged in September with child endangerment, driving under the influence of alcohol, driving without a license, obstructing an officer, failure to carry insurance and transporting an open container of beer.

Dakota Freebird Spradlin, 18, Chouteau, had his case continued to Nov. 8.

Spradlin was charged in September with second degree burglary.

Shawn Michael Summerlin, 36, Fort Cobb, waived his right to a preliminary hearing. Summerlin will reappear in court on Nov. 5 for plea.

Summerlin was charged in July with aggravated assault and battery.

Zachery Glenn Taylor, 34, Locust Grove, had his case continued to Nov. 8.

Taylor was charged in November 2010 with possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute, possession of controlled substance after former conviction, driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Bryan Scott Thomason, 45, Chouteau, had his case continued to Nov. 8.

Thomason was charged in July with driving under the influence of alcohol after previous conviction and leaving the scene of an accident involving damage.

Lewis Thompson Jr., 46, Salina, had his case continued to Nov. 8.

Thompson was charged in September with first degree burglary, knowingly concealing stolen property and assault.

Daniel Anthony Wagner, 23, Tulsa, had his case continued to Nov. 8.

Wagner was charged in September with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving without a license and driving left of center.

Triniti Jean White, 35, Pryor, was not in court. Judge Gore issued a bench warrant and forfeited and tripled her bond for her failure to appear.

White was charged in September with driving under the influence of alcohol after former conviction, driving without a license and failure to yield.
