PRYOR, OK — A man’s sexting led to incarceration and a $200,000 bond.

Eric Dossey, 29, began communicating with someone he believed to be a 15-year-old girl he met online. Dossey sent naked pictures of himself standing in front of a mirror, said he wished he could see her naked and join her in the shower. He asked for a naked picture of what he believed to be the underage girl and sent messages detailing several lewd acts.  After several texts were exchanged, Dossey drove from Anna, Texas to meet the girl.

When he arrived, Chouteau Police Officer Anna Cox was waiting to arrest him on felony charges of lewd or indecent proposals to a child under 16.

Dossey is being held in the Mayes County Jail with a $200,000 bond. His case was continued to July 27.

If convicted Dossey would be required to register as a sex offender with the state of Oklahoma.

According to the Oklahoma Sex Offender registry Chouteau has 10 registered sex offenders residing within city limits.

Adair and Strang each have four registered offenders while Disney has one and Spavinaw has five. Salina ties Chouteau with 10. Pryor and Locust Grove each have a total of 15 registered offenders.
