Angela Kay Gwin, Strang, was in Mayes County District Court Tuesday charged with two counts of distribution of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute. She pleaded not guilty. The case was set on the preliminary hearing sounding docket May 10. Bond on each charge is $50,000. Gwin is alleged to have distributed dihydrocodeinone and oxycontin in November and December of 2010.

Jay Edward Colestock, 44, Locust Grove, was in Mayes County District Court Tuesday charged with one felony and two misdemeanors. The felony count is possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Misdemeanor counts are driving with license suspended and driving a defective vehicle.  Bryan A. Rock, his attorney, entered a not guilty plea. Bond was set at $25,000. Colestock is in court for failure to pay fines and costs from a 2011 conviction. Bond in that case is $25,807.30. The case was set on the preliminary hearing sounding docket May 10.

Colestock was convicted in 2011 of possession of a controlled dangerous substance and drug paraphernalia. Colestock was convicted in 1999 of second degree burglary, knowingly concealing stolen property and possession of a police scanner while committing a felony.
