FFA contest winners

PRYOR — The Pryor FFA Chapter hosted a speech contest April 3 and had record attendance. This is the 22nd consecutive year for the contest. Twenty-nine chapters, from as far away as Spiro, came to Pryor to give 160 speeches in 12 topic categories.

The top five winners from Pryor were Savannah Thomas in Natural Resources and Garrett Yerigan in Senior Extemporaneous with first place finishes, Emily Sumter finishing fourth in ninth-grade Opportunities, Bryce Hauenstein in Animal Science and Kylie Vanderslice in Creed speaking,  each placing fifth.

The chapter thanks the sponsors including: Merl Troyer, David C.
